The territory of Narni is covered by a decent urban road network, characterized by two main arteries represented by the SS3 Flaminia - running through both the Historical Centre and some suburban areas - and the SS3 Ter Tiberina which cuts through the town of Narni, creating many hardships in terms of road congestion, pollution and safety. The transport system is characterized by a prevailing car mobility that connects the two main centers with the neighboring city of Terni. To connect with suburbs, it has been recently created a public demand responsive transport service that is very successful.
