Tutrakan is is a municipal center and one of the oldest and most interesting cities along the Danube. It is located in the middle of the road between Ruse and Silistra and is about 60 km from each of the two bigger towns. Its port facilitates communications and determines the significant place the city has occupied and occupied in its historical development. The Municipality of Tutrakan is also part of the Bulgarian pearl, envisaged by the TRANSDANUBE.PEARLS Project.
