Reminder: ECOMM Call for papers still open!
 
  Dear EPOMM-e-news readers.,
In 2007 EPOMM starts with a new member: Spain! In the next e-news, when Spain has officially joined we will report more in depth on mobility management in this country.

Meanwhile, we again would like to remind you that the call for papers for the European Conference on Mobility Management (ECOMM) is open until 15 January. If you do not manage to submit it until then, send a short version outlining the subject to the organisers and then you can still send the paper in until the very final deadline which is 22 January.

This year, the Board and the organizing committee took special efforts to upgrade the conference format.
  • The conference will contain reports from most European countries on the state of the art of mobility management.
  • It will contain the new formats of "scenario workshops", these are workshops in small groups to work on specific themes, as well as the "open space" networking opportunity to present projects in a shorter format.
  • The first EPOMM Annual Mobility Management Award will be presented for the most outstanding MM city and MM researcher
Moreover, this year the conference is again in an interesting location: Lund is the Nr. 1 Swedish Cycling city and one of the pioneer cities of mobility management in Sweden. Sweden is also the country with a remarkable growth in mobility management practice in the last 10 years.

Lund is well accessible via Copenhagen Airport, by train it takes about 44 minutes to Lund across the new gigantic Öresund bridge.
