The Sustainable Tourism Mobility Forum, hosted by Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) and the Netherlands Board of Tourism and Conventions (NBTC), will take place on 27 May 2024 in Breda, the Netherlands. 

In collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, CELTH, POLIS, and NECSTouR, the event aims to address challenges related to emissions in the tourism industry and focus on the necessary transition towards more sustainable transportation modes, like rail, coaches, and cycling, in tourism.

The main theme of the 7th Conference on Sustainable Mobility – CSuM2024,  “Climate Crisis and Transportation Resilient Systems“, aims at the dissemination of knowledge and the exchange of research and good practices among researchers and practitioners towards the adaptation of the transportation systems to climate change.

The European Transport Conference (ETC) is the annual conference of the Association for European Transport, attracting transport policy makers, practitioners and researchers from all over Europe and beyond. ETC offers in-depth presentations on policy issues, best practice and research findings across the broad spectrum of transport. ETC also provides an opportunity where delegates can enjoy networking opportunities, participate in technical visits, and explore the exhibition.
